Ms Lyn Carman
Lyn is a Dental Hygienist graduating from Adelaide, who has worked in many practices in London, Queensland and South Australia. She is an active member of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia, DHAA, currently the National Chair of the Rural and Remote Special Interest Group advocating for rural remote regionals in Australia. Lyn also sits on advisory groups and committees. It is Lyn’s mission in life to improve the oral health of the population and reduce preventable oral diseases, encouraging her patients to seek oral health for improved general health.
Her passion for oral health extends to Timor Leste in a project mentoring a team of local oral health professionals and creating networks for development within their community.
As a professional speaker, trainer and presenter Lyn is grateful to be able to share her expertise and passion for all things oral health, along with her love of human behaviour, sharing topics such as self-development, behavioural profiling and team dynamics.
Lyn shares her life with her partner Angus and their 4 adult children, 2 dogs and chickens, in Uraidla. Lyn also enjoys travel, food and wine and working to stay fit and healthy.
